How we are helping to keep our clients, team and community safe.
Hand washing & daily health checks.
Before entering site addresses, all of our team use hand sanitiser, confirm they are not displaying any COVID-19 symptoms and have their temperature checked. We ask all clients to confirm that they are well, have not been in contact with anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms, have not been contacted by the NHS track and trace system and also that no one in the house is self isolating.
Additional cleaning and social distancing.
Whilst each team member has their own set of tools and equipment, items that are shared are cleaned using anti-bacterial wipes at the end of each day. Where possible, we work at least one metre but aim to work at two metres distance from each other. We also try to work back to back or along side one another rather than work facing each other. All members of the team are equipped with the necessary PPE should this not be possible.
Keeping use of other areas within a client’s home to a minimum.
Whilst we would need to be able to use a delegated toilet for our team, we bring our own hand soaps and hand towels and remove waste at the end of each day. We also bring our own tea cups, kettle etc to keep client contact and the use of other areas in the home minimal. We bring our lunch with us to that we do not have to visit shops.
